C.L. Grear is a Kingdom architect — shaping faith, culture, and community with practical clarity and theological depth. He was called of God to the preaching ministry at age 11 and now serves as the founder and senior pastor of One Church in the greater East Houston Metro, established in 2022 as Spirit-led ministry marked by contemporary flavor on a traditional plate. The local church, along with its media outreach, embodies apostolic vision, creative excellence, and Kingdom expansion.

A Master of Divinity candidate at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Grear is emerging as a thought leader in the theology of faith, social justice, leadership, creativity, and education.

Beyond the pulpit, he is a classically trained musician and creative strategist whose work in music and media, at the GRAMMY level, has reached international national platforms — celebrated for his ability to merge spiritual depth with cultural relevance. He’s produced music for the legendary Norman Hutchins, Jacky Clark Chisholm of The Clark Sisters, and has collaborated with Tobe Nwigwe, Zacardi Cortez, and more. He is widely regarded as a rising voice for the next era of church and Kingdom expression.is a demonstrator of theological thinking. Dubbed “The Houston Hitmaker” by icons, his influence resonates far and wide, as seen on major platforms like CNN and FOX, and celebrated on The Dorinda Show.

First Lady Niesha Rena Grear, is a third generation ministry leader, speaker, and oversees the women’s ministry of One Church. She delivers Biblical inspiration with an unmatched heart for people. Since the inception of our church, she’s also managed our largest outreach efforts including the Baytown Block Party and the relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, partnering with the Houston Food Bank for aid in our community.

Additionally, she launched her podcast, live in front of a studio audience, entitled, LETS TALK FIRST w/ The First Lady. And In 2025, she released her first book, “My Prayer Aint Ever Scared,” a 21-day devotional focused on the building the faith and life of prayer among women

In addition to her ministry efforts, she’s created her imprint as a trusted and seasoned voice in the property management industry.

Together, they lead One Church, One Global Media Outreach, One Conference, and the relationship series, “One Conversation.”
