HISTORY
EST. 2022
In 2018, Pastor C.L. Grear began an annual worship conference now known as One Conference, attended by people young and old, coming together for one purpose: Worship. Down through the years, our conference has been privileged partners of nationally known preachers and GRAMMY award winning artists to share in ministry. Additionally, our conference attracted the partnerships and/or attention of Logos Bible Software, ChurchSpace, and Dallas Theological Seminary’s Houston Campus.
But that’s just the beginning. In October of 2022, Pastor organized One Church in the Baytown Community Center on a Sunday afternoon. Soon after, a small group of 55 people, many just meeting for the first time, from Baytown, Pearland, Houston, Texas City, Crosby, and Channelview gathered at the very first Sunday service to launch our new church.
Through events like the Community Block Party, we’ve had the honor of feeding large groups of adults and children in our city. Additionally, we hosted the Big Easter Bash, feeding high volumes of families, and providing fun for the kids. And when Hurricane Beryl struck, we partnered with the Houston Food Bank to bring vital resources and boxed groceries to those affected with our own hands and efforts. This positively impacted about 400 residences, bringing relief in one single day.
Today, because of a series of exciting , unexpected, and aligned events, One Church is in the process of transition to South Houston, to a long term, fully built, worship-ready church facility where we will now be within 13 minutes from Missouri City, 7 minutes from Sunnyside, 10 minutes from Pearland/Shadow Creek Ranch, and 10 minutes from the NRG stadium.
We are set to begin this new chapter Spring of 2026 back where One Conference first began, on 288 and West Orem.
We believe this is only the beginning. Welcome to One Church.
